Hello!  Before I get into the Digital Scrapbooking Challenges, let me introduce myself….Im Jessica and I am relatively new with RAKScraps, but have already grown to love the community that is RAKScraps!  I wanted to say Thank you to everyone for their warm welcome and making me feel at home here!

On to Digital Scrapbooking Challenges that are going on now in the ScrapRAKS section of the messageboard at RAKScraps.  There have been some beautiful QuickPages uploaded for the January 2010 Quick page Challenge and the RAK for those that have participated is just beautiful.  Just take a look!

The January 2010 Members Mega Kit Challenge also has some great kits uploaded by our members.  They all are great compliments to the January MegaKit!  If you haven’t downloaded your January MegaKit, grab it before it goes into the RAKCenter!  Stop by the forum and check out the great kits uploaded by the members and they are all available for download.  The challenges are a great way to fine tune your scrapping and creativity skills, not to mention showcase those photographs that are just waiting to be displayed.

RAKfile Challenge January 2010

January is almost over and the RAKfile Challenge hosted by teddyprayer (Michele) is a great way to get motivated to finish those unfinished layouts we all have.  And with a RAK to boot, it is even better!  As I was perusing the layouts, the one shown below stuck a chord with me.  Being in Southeastern Kentucky, we have been going through a month of frozen water, no power, road closings, subfreezing temps, and generally weather that makes you want to stay home.  This layout expresses exactly what most of us up here on the side of Black Mountain are feeling right about now.

We are wishing Spring would get here, and get here quickly!
