In case you didn’t know, the November issue of the RAKScraps newsletter is now out! Click on the link here to get it, or, once logged into the RAKScraps site, click on the “Newsletter” button along the top menu to view the newsletter either online or as a downloadable PDF. Either way, it’s jam packed full of information and fun [and links!].
Some highlights from the November newsletter:
- Did someone say PARTY? I thought so. Yep, another party at RAKScraps! This time RAKScraps is celebrating turning four. The party is a week long, running from November 11th (8am EST) to November 18th (8am EST). There is a lot planned, including chats, challenges, and games. There are many sponsors lined up to generously give away prizes to help celebrate RAKScraps turning four. We hope that you can make it and join in the fun. If you do one challenge or twelve, leave gallery love, participate in a chat, or just hang and have fun, it’ll be worth it! So, mark your calenders now - November 11th through November 18th!
- Challenges: With the start of the month, that brings new challenges to RAKScraps. KayKay has her fun avatar challenge [which also ties into our RAKScraps birthday party] and Bunchie has a posting challenge - with a slight twist. Check out the other challenges we have this month.
- Sponsors: This month, RAKScraps has another two great sponsors: Linda’s Dream Designs and Doris Castle. Both sponsors have their own galleries set up - and in the newsletter they each have a freebie for you to download. Once you’ve downloaded their great freebies, post your LO in their galleries. Don’t forget to leave some gallery love for others while you’re there - that’ll help both make someone’s day and help with completing Bunchie’s posting challenge.
- RAK File Challenge: JoanneK challenges you to make a holiday card. Are you up to the challenge? Check the newsletter for more details!
- Tutorial: Melinda Staley has some tips and tricks for fixing over- or under-exposed photos.
- Member Spotlights: Learn more about members mmbstaley [Melinda Staley], who also wrote this month’s tutorial, and BGDesmet [Beckie G. Desmet]. You’ve seen them around the forums or in the gallery - so why not get to know these gals a bit better? Shannon will be hosting a Scrapper’s Spotlight featuring BGDesmet - scraplift some of her LOs, ask questions, and comment on your favourite LOs.
