Bow-tique Kit

“In a word: WOW!
This kit is jam packed with papers of every type - plain, striped, flowery, ivy, texture, and big glitter. I really like that there are so many papers to choose from, though I’ll admit that I was overwhelmed by 100 choices! Luckily, there are previews for each different paper type, so that may help you decide which wonderful one to use in your layouts.
This kit reminded me of spring - the colours are light and spring-like. I could see this kit working better for girls [especially the word art and some of the frames], but there are enough generic items [did I mention all those papers?], so boys or guys could have items scrapped using this kit.
I really like the choices available - the alphabet is adorable, the frames are cute, the papers are wow. This is a jam-packed kit full of great details and elements!” - DaraGolden
Falling Leaves

“”Falling Leaves” by By God’s Design has beautiful autumn colours including gold, orange, red, dark green, brown, deep red, and yellow. I really like the leave patterned papers. The elements are very fitting - single leaves, a leaf frame, and paper bows with elements, including a butterfly or flower.
I really like the number of papers in this kit [40] - there are so many to chose from! I also like that there are patterned as well as plain papers. The colours of this kit go together very well and I like how they work together. ” - DaraGolden
Lost in the 50’s: Housewife Paper Set

“These papers are so pretty! Soft pinks, blues and greens and all with great designs! Some have flowers, some look like fabric, these papers can make a great touch to any page!” - sarahwhithers
Kireina Cho Cho

“This papers in this kit are amazing! The kit is mostly red, black & beige in color, with some great frames and elements. This kit has a very “altered art” feel to it so would be great for your unique photos!” - sarahwhithers
“Wow, this a real dramatic kit. The elements are beautiful are mixture of flower, frames and swirls. The papers are beautiful and calling for drama in any layout you do with them.” - KirstenW
Whale-uva-tail Shake R
“I’ve fallen in love with By God’s Design’s Shake R’s, and I can see why they have become a popular seller at her store. I grabbed her Whale-uva-tail which is, essentially, a digital version of a paper-pieced embellishment. The neat bit is that it is broken down into the basic shapes…the tail, the body, the eyes, two types of waves and a sploosh (love that!) So, it can be used as a whale or the pieces can be used completely separately, which is what I chose to showcase in my beach layout below. The waves and sploosh were both used as individual embellishments that really brought the layout to life.” - sosumi
Fall Grab Bag

“This kit is a great surprise. There are sort of items in this bag. There are some great cut-outs that would work well for a lot of different layout. They come already coloured or you can use the greyscale ones. There are also some overlays in greyscale and colour. You also get different frames that have a copper feel about them. You also get a glitter style, which are great. There are lot of other goodies in this kit and I am sure you will use for each every little piece. This has an overall feel of autumn.” - KirstenW
“What drew me into this grab bag was the very cool promise of an exclusive Photoshop item, which ended up being a handy set of glitter styles. Those I know I will use over and over because of their versatility…frames, backgrounds, layered with a font to create an instant alpha, there is so much they are great for.
The same goes for her copper frames, a set of 5. They are beautiful and also good beyond their obvious first use as frames. The copper is wonderful on its own or layered.
By God’s Design also included a full Shake R owl embellishment in her grab bag. Her Shake R’s are great because they are not preassembled but are broken down into the basic shapes. This lets you either use the Shake R in its original form or alter it: in the case of my layout below, I did use the owl as an owl but used her glitter styles on a couple parts of the owl and did my own techniques on other pieces.” - sosumi
Blind Sight Designs
The Kit

“Blind Sight Designs is a new designer for me. Let me add, that I have known Rosefire [Adele] here on RAKScraps for a while, I just had never looked at her store before. I’m thrilled that I’ve been introduced to her kits.
The Kit has many papers, both patterned and plain with touches of grunge, and elements. I really like the ribbons - they’re slightly curved, making them very interesting. I also like the colours of this kit - they go together very well. This kit is very versatile - I can see it being used for boys, girls, celebrations, or even fun sunny days at the park.” - DaraGolden
Rough & Tumble Girl (plus add-on)

“This kit, in one word, is FUN! There are a ton of elements, including ribbons, flowers and tags. Great papers and a neat alpha. The colors are mostly pink, green and black so you can get a real pop of color for your pages. This kit is sure to bring any girl pages to life!” - sarahwhithers
“I like the fact that this kit came with a alpha that includes number’s. The colour are so great together, especially the check pattern. So many gorgeous elements. I like that it is girlie retro. A lovely group of very retro girlie papers. In conclusion I have to say this is a gorgeous kit. That will will perfectly with your photo of the girls/woman in the family as well as great for those memories of girl day/night out. Don’t forget your girl furbabys. I think this would work well with black and white photo as well, for example heritage layouts.” - KirstenW
“Blind Sight Designs (Adele!) has built a fabulous, funky and fun kit that I’ve had a blast working with, as a mom of a fabulous, funky and fun daughter. This is a jam-packed kit that is great for girls of all ages; younger girls, tweens-teens and girlie-girl grown-ups would all find something to connect with. It is full of shades of pink but these are balanced with punches of black and green in both softs and bold patterns. The elements include a full alpha and plenty of ribbon, ties, tags, flowers and big buttons to keep you happy.” - sosumi
Baby Blue

“Baby Blue by Blind Sight Designs struck me right away as a kit that had tonnes of possibility; really diverse use! The name of the kit certainly implies that it is perfect for baby boys–and I could easily use the elements and papers in it for layouts of my 3 year-old son–but I also saw beach, water and generic, family layouts as it includes neutral shaded papers and elements such as clips, circular floral elements with hearts, swirls and ribbons that were all workable across themes. My own favourite element in the kit is the worn cardboard frame, which is great on it’s own as a frame or layered for texture.” - sosumi
Braille Alpha
“Blind Sight Designs knows how to do alphas! This Braille Alphabet is what is says, a full, standard alpha with the braille included on the cardboard tag. It is also a fun, well-made alpha for all types with the braille done in different colours to add interest. The full uppercase alpha, all numbers and special symbols including an exclamation mark, comma, dash and number sign are there.” - sosumi
Family Ties

“When previewing “Family Ties,” my son commented that it didn’t look like “the other family kits you have.” Know what? He’s right.
What struck me was that this is a bright and slightly “funky” kit for a family. Some of the papers look like they are painted canvases; the colours are bright and autumn themed. The tree caused my son to ask, “Didn’t we see that at the modern art museum?”
I really like the textures of the papers and the “funkiness” of the elements - the “Photo Taken By” tab is perfect, and I really like the eyelet ribbons. I’m not sure I’ll use this for too many family-themed photos, but I can see it for showcasing some of my son’s artworks!” - DaraGolden
” The Family Ties kit has wonderful colors, really makes you think autumn. With cute trees and great paper designs, this kit will go great with the fall & thanksgiving pages!” - sarahwhithers
