Hello, and welcome to the new, exciting Blog Challenge. My name is Angela, and I want to introduce you to some really quick and easy ways to participate in RAKScraps and win prizes.

Imagine walking into a large room, where you don’t know anyone, and a really nice, kind person comes up to greet you with a smile and a “hello”. Doesn’t that feel great?  Well the RAKScraps Digital Scrapbooking Community is like one humungous room full of thousands of people, and that welcoming smile is so wonderful, and so easy to do.

Have you guessed my challenge? That’s right - we’re going to the Hello! Welcome! Glad to meet you! area of the Scrapbooking Forum, to do some smiling and say “hello”.  My challenge has 2 parts. One for new members, and members who haven’t posted in the Forum before. And one for everyone else.

If you are new to posting in the forum, Welcome to RAKScraps. I would like you to pop along to the Hello! Welcome! Glad to meet you! area. Your challange is to start a “thread” - that’s what we call a conversation on the Forum. In that thread I would like you to say hello and introduce yourself. Here are some tutorials to help you:

• how to start a thread (a forum conversation)
• how to reply to a thread (carry on a conversation)

If you are already an active member in the forum, I would like you to move along to the Hello! Welcome! Glad to meet you! area. Your challenge is to say hello and welcome the new members. This is RAK’n with a smile.
