I must admit that going through old newsletters or magazines is something I enjoy doing. I know, kinda weird, but it’s amazing to see what I’ve missed the first time round and “rediscover” at another time. Here are some more “hidden” gems from some of the previous newsletters:
October 2005: Tips for Organizing your Downloaded Items and What You’ve Used in Layouts - who can’t use a few tips on this subject? The spreadsheet is a great idea, in my biased opinion. 
These articles were written by Amy Teets and Christy Heins.
January 2006: Tutorial: Feathered Edges - how to create feathered edges for your photos, without using masks. I know many people use this technique, but I usually forget about it. Although this tutorial is written using Photoshop, it’s basic enough to be easily translated into another program.
February 2006: Photography Challenge - take out the manual to your digital camera and read it. If you don’t have the manual, try doing an online search to see if it is online. I found out that my camera has a “black and white” mode [who’ve thunk?].
May 2007: Tutorial: Folding Corners - I’ve noticed there’s been a resurgence of this technique. Want to learn how to do it yourself? Check out Melinda’s tutorial and be part of the current trend! This tutorial is written for Photoshop Elements, but can be translated for other programs.
Search through the previous newsletters - you’ll never know when you might find something that wasn’t relevant before and is relevant now.
